My Tieks are Here!!!

So, after reading how happy you all were with your Tieks, I decided to take the plunge and order some for myself. I have to say, I am very impressed with the whole process from ordering, to quick (complementary) delivery, to the packaging and personal note, to the most important part...the feel of these flats. They are amazingly comfortable and I'm already thinking of ordering another color. :)

For those of you that don't know, Tieks are sold at a boutique in Beverly Hills, Ca. The only way to get them is to order them online at Tieks.com or visit their California store. An interesting tidbit...it takes three days and 150 steps to create a single pair of Tieks. Gotta love a well made shoe, right? :)

I ordered them at noon on a Tuesday and got an email at 2pm that same day saying they had already shipped! I received them about 48 hours after I ordered them. Love their quick delivery!

In true blogger fashion, I photographed the whole un-boxing experience for your pleasure. Lol!

How cute is this flower band on top?

This is what was just under the lid...

A personal note! I'm a sucker for pretty packaging and presentation. :)

They included some info on what they're made of and how to care for them...

Then I pulled out my Tieks and a little bag...

The drawstring bag is for carrying around your Tieks.

And inside the drawstring bag is another bag...

...that unfolds into this bigger bag to put your heels in when your feet get tired and you want to switch to your comfy Tieks flats. :)

Look how flexible they are!

Here's how they looked when I unfolded them...

Flexible, comfy, squishy flats. A pure delight to wear!

I couldn't wait to try them out...

Just ignore the funny tan lines on my feet from wearing three different kinds of flip flops all summer. Ha!

I wore them around the house for about 2 1/2 hours while I was straightening the house, doing laundry and baking and they were super comfy. They're a bit pricey at $175, but well worth it for someone like me who has never been able to find a comfy pair of flats that don't rub on my heels. I love that they come in tons of colors too. On a side note, they're only returnable if they've been worn indoors, so don't wear them outside the house until you know they'll work for you.

I'm putting the finishing touches on my diy pergola cover post, so it should be up this week.

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. So happy to see you got your Tieks. My daughter loves hers and says they are the best for someone that is on her feet all day at work. She too said they are well worth the money. Happy Sunday. Looking forward to seeing your pergola.

  4. Cute shoes!! I think that note is such a sweet touch. I wonder if the salespeople have to take a penmanship class before they're hired! ;-)
